A magistrate's court heard a charge of leaving an excavation unguarded and failing to post warning signs at the site. The case hinges on safety duties at the work area and the alleged breach of regulatory requirements.
August 29th and The Town, via Mr Premachuk, sought remand without plea. Council asked for a written opinion. Last Wednesday, Council directed Mr Premachuk to enter a plea of Not Guilty.
