Spartans defeat Benito 19 14 in tough football clash
In a close game the Spartans beat Benito 19 to 14 after a strong third quarter surge. Benito briefly led in the second period but a late Spartans drive and key stops secured the victory. Duane Needham scored a late third quarter TD to seal the comeback.
