Tennis courts revived as recreation grows in The Pas
The Pas shows growing recreation with revived long abandoned tennis courts on a busy summer. Harry Dunn and Roy Lind helped restore one court to playable condition amid rising community interest and a call for a physical fitness director. The Winton Swimming Pool is valued around 40000 by the Community Club, largely from volunteer labor and donated or reduced cost equipment. Additional town funds and a government grant could pave two more blocks of Third Avenue to reach the new subdivision.
