False Alarms from Page 1 Prompt Town Action
During a November 16 town council meeting a resolution was passed to bill Kelsey Housing Estates for all future false alarms. Chief Puckett warned that repeated false alarms strain response times and may endanger life and property if a real fire occurs. There have been 77 alarms to date, 16 of which were false, risking overrun of the fire department budget.
