Trager's Store Hit Again in Wake of Break-ins
Victims include Trager's Department Store and the Steak House in the Gateway Hotel. Break-ins occurred Saturday morning at 5 and 4 a.m. Entry to Trager's was gained through a wood panel on Fischer Avenue. vandals had broken the window three weeks earlier. Hay Loss Across Halcrow Lake As Fire Spreads
Yaworski reports a grass fire in Halcrow Lake area on the evening of Monday November 9 swept through hay stacks west of Frechette's Dairy, burning about 460 bales. He pursued two boys spotted fleeing and captured one behind the A W Drive-In.

Sayese Gets Six Month Suspended Sentence
James Sayese of The Pas pleaded guilty to Mischief and received a six month suspended sentence and $100 restitution from Magistrate Bill Martin in The Pas. He kicked in the Cambridge Hotel front door at 7:20 PM, smashing plate glass. RCMP notified and hotel manager detained him. All other cases were remanded for one week.
