Winter roads program announced by McBryde
Northern Affairs Minister Ron McBryde unveiled a 1.5 million winter roads program to reach remote northern treaty communities. Work starts at freeze-up with opening planned early next year if weather cooperates. Several routes across Manitoba will be built by various local firms and northern authorities with partial federal cost sharing.
