Halloween Party at Airport Clubroom bids farewell to Thompson pair
Airport residents gathered for an October 26 Crib party at the old Clubroom in Clearwater before Don and Joyce Thompson leave for Baker Lake. Don becomes OIC of the Meteorological Department. Prizes went to George and Joy Elliot, Gordon Holloway, Doug Gray, and Russ Embury for costumes. Jackie and Wally Hancharyk wowed as an elderly couple. Pre-schooler games, square dancing, and a piano recital by Terry Beckingham highlighted community fun. Tom Burwell and Janet Holloway announced their engagement.
