Auxiliary workers tackled decorating a hospital ward with a stain resistant carpet low friction flooring and easy to clean colors. Fire resistant drapes were chosen and upholstery fabric selected for comfort and cleanability to match the planned color scheme.
The Pas M B C J Cross Country team finished strong at the Cranberry Portage provincial meet. Roger Lourenzo led Junior Boys open, four of the team placed high overall, while Moose Lake dominated Junior Girls and Senior Boys team titles.
A combined October birthday and Hallowe'en party was held at St Pauls Residence on Thursday October 29. Mrs Cassidy hosted with games and piano music while visitors and residents enjoyed songs, guessing games with prizes for pumpkin weight and jelly beans, and a brief masked interlude. Mrs Rahl and Mr Robison were named oldest lady and gentleman, followed by a light lunch prepared by the ladies. G C MacKenzie was noted in attendance.
