Civic Election Slate Sweeps as Kennedy Is Mayor
Voters last Wednesday endorsed a four candidate slate promising change. Jack Kennedy, 42, wins mayoral race 1192 to 862 over Harry Trager. Fasano, Gelowitz, and McBride win council seats. Wilchowy finishes last with 574. Kennedy to chair first formal council meeting November 10.

Ghosts and goblins filled the Elks Hall for the Halloween party last Saturday after 1 000. About 100 children enjoyed prizes for best costumes treats and three children's films in the afternoon.
