MTS plans new buildings at Atik Cranberry Portage Reed Lake to house gear for a microwave network in Northern Manitoba. Towers will be erected at each site to expand long distance service and carry live television to Flin Flon The Pas Snow Lake Thompson Gillam Grand Rapids and Fisher Branch. System to be operational by summer in 1969.
