The Kinette Club held its March General Meeting on the 14th at Nor Lite Hall in Kelowna to mark Founder's Night. Twelve members attended along with one guest. Darlene Hicks was named to replace Norma Ingaldson.
Bible message opens this note. Norma and Wayne have moved to Winnipeg. Eve Turner reports on the Queen s Pageant as the club backs the 1969 Tripers Festival. Four Kinettes attended Swan River Kinette Club charter night and received a historian s book. Deanna Guidry to chair the Cookbook project. District Kinette Interclub set for April 27 in Dauphin. Diane Scoles to be contacted by April 2. Hawaiian Luau dance planned for May 11 at Guy Hall. Next meeting April 18 at New Avenue Hotel. Mr and Mrs Don Fisher take a three week Barbados vacation. Mrs Sam Dodds returns from Yorkton.
Mr and Mrs Mac Profit returned from a month long Trailer Holiday visiting Swan River Padre Island Texas Phoenix Tuscan Arizona and Los Angeles Disneyland Knott's Berry Farm and the Grand Canyon. They were joined by Mr and Mrs Don Gourlay and Mr and Mrs Les Currie. The Pasana District Kindergarten Association announces a General Meeting.
A March 25 1968 meeting at 8 00 PM invites prospective parents registering children for the 1968 69 term. The Herald urges all parents to attend the event.
The Pas and District calls for volunteers to canvass for the annual Cancer Campaign. Potential helpers are asked to contact Mrs. E Schlick at MA8 3890 to enlist for the week of April. (CONTINUED ON PAGE 7)
