Manitoba replaces farm credit body with guaranteed loan support
The Manitoba Agriculture and Development Corporation now provides loan guarantees to approved lenders for Manitoba farmers who lack bank credit. To qualify, farmers must be Manitoba residents over 21, unable to secure credit, and present a detailed business plan. Guarantees up to 50000 dollars per farmer, repaid in 10 years, for operating costs livestock equipment buildings land improvements and debt consolidation.
