C E S Canvas For Arthritis Drives Pas Fundraiser
Mrs. Laura Allen announces a house to house canvass in The Pas from April 16 to 23 to raise funds for the Canadian Arthritis Society services. The drive supports patient care at St Anthony's Hospital clinics homes and evaluation and rehabilitation programs conducted by rheumatologists and occupational therapists across Manitoba.

Indian people were assisted to build 1,280 new houses with another 899 started but not yet completed. Funds supported housing roads electrification and water systems. Total period spending included 10,162,000 for housing 2,387,000 for roads 558,000 for electrification and 1,749,000 for water supply.

Indian housing program aids reserve community homes
