Manitoba Hydro and Saskatchewan Power Corporation are upgrading the eight year old tie line between their systems. A new agreement will have Saskatchewan supply a large block of power to Manitoba in 1970 before the Kettle Generating Station starts in 1971. The utilities also assist each other in emergencies.
