Opasquia pupils raise funds for Manitoba Ability Fund
Mrs. Margaret Riding's class at Opasquia School collected dimes for the Society for Crippled Children and Adults of Manitoba. David Swan from Winnipeg explained the fund's use as the 30 students filled seven of eight cards near $10, with Grade 5 and 6 students hosting a neon sock-hop for extra donations. Principal Bob Isfeld reports about $200 total this year, double last year, driven by heartfelt effort.
