The Pas hosts the Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival February 21 to 23 with eight candidates for Fur Queen. Jeannette Pasiowetz and Ella Mae Brownlee lead a separate Miss The Pas contest. An eighth town may enter from Yorkton Saskatchewan. Entries come from Churchill Thompson Snow Lake Flin Flon Swan River and Dauphin CKDM.

TV Now In June Target Dates Set For The Pas Flin Flon
Bud Simpson MP announced in Flin Flon that television service for The Pas and Flin Flon will start in early June with The Pas following about two weeks later. The delay was questioned by The Pas Chamber of Commerce as Ottawa explained on air dates depend on delivery of required equipment from the CBC and National Revenue.

Expansion Plan in The Pas Faces Major School Shortages
The Kelsey School Division plans a broad expansion to voters, aiming to ease immediate shortages in The Pas. First Non Stop Race From The Pas To Beaver Lake 1916
The narrator recalls plans for a dog race from The Pas to Beaver Lake on St Patrick's Day 1916. A friend enters his team, using dogs previously employed for freighting to Reid Lake. One young dog is swapped in for a doubtful dog, and preparations include practice runs along the race road. The entry happens at the Opasquai Hotel, later renamed the Gateway Hotel.
