International Tea and Fashion Show at Trappers' Festival
The Elk's Hall hosted a two day International Tea and Fashion Show organized by Emelia Reddy replacing the fur fashion show. Around thirty five costumes from twenty countries were shown by local models including two male models in West African and Filipino dress. Ukrainian outfits featured with a dance. The Pasa Girls Choir directed by Margaret Toews performed five numbers while serving tea. Queen Andrea Martin and Miss Manitoba Lorraine Gauthier visited and watched the show with commentator Strini Reddy.
