New Auditorium Hosts Edmon ton Band to Boost Local Interest

The RCAF Training Command Band from Edmonton performed in The Pas promoted by the local Air Cadet Squadron and the Elks Lodge. About 452 paid attendees plus many cadets and children attended, with total turnout near 500. The daytime concert offered free admission for Collegiate students, and the evening show showcased musical appreciation beyond standard Sousa style. The new auditorium, seating 600, proved suitable for such programming and may host future acts like the Don Cossack Chorus in October.
