Rotary Festival Delights Fans With City Choirs
A Christmas program featured a Mennonite male quartet singing O Tannenbaum in German and a ladies trio performing Come Hither Ye Children. John Sokulski led the Ukrainian Catholic Church Choir in three carols as Casey Valkenburg noted next year’s plans for a larger venue and possibly a two night festival. Rotary President Frank Bickle welcomed guests and Stan Reid led the crowd in carols with Mrs. Ron Johnstone at the piano, as multiple local choirs and school groups participated under directors including Linda Mitchuk J L Martinnson Geoff Smith Mike Pesiak Laura Allen and others from Westmins and The Pas.

Meetings set for January 4 and February with aims to publish proposals and invite three representatives from participating groups.
