Town Council approves RCMP pact and sets new skating rates
At The Pas council meeting last week the RCMP police agreement was ratified for another year. Councillor Audrey Batchelor was named town representative to the Northern Local Health Unit. The chamber resolutions on planning authority and municipal study remain unfinished. A 50 percent rebate request by Minish Construction was denied. The Derby House license refund request was not decided. The skating club won a new skating rate schedule. Health and welfare charges remain within budget with minor December increases anticipated.
