Teen Town awards and dances push civic youth drive
The Pas teen program reports sixteen students earned awards for selling over thirty dollars with top prizes a electric guitar transistor radio and record player plus daily LP records. Vienna Beck and Judy McCammon led with sales of two hundred sixty six dollars and seventy cents and seventy dollars fifty seven cents respectively. Members plan new promotions including membership cards for dances at Elk's Hall with admission 75 cents for cardholders and one free dance during Christmas holidays. Rules cover dos and don ts, age limits from 13 to 19, dress and conduct rules, and penalties for vandalism or nuisance behavior.
