Guy School Becomes Residence At Guy Hill
The Guy Indian School at Guy Hill will be renamed the Guy Indian Student Residence as of August 1. Principal now administrator Father L Poirier says 90 to 95 percent of the students, likely about 165, will be bused to The Pas each day, with grades five to eight remaining at the site. The Pas line contract has been awarded to Kelsey Bus Line for the coming year. The change aims to convert the centre into a residence as most students are moved to town for schooling.
