Mayor warns of heavy Kelsey levy impact on The Pas Consol

In a mayoral broadcast Doug McBripg warns that the Kelsey School Division special levy will hit property taxpayers in The Pas and Consol. He cites an 88 12 percent split for a 1 million levy and notes rising costs from trailer licenses and water projects while Wanless mobile home plans spark talk of moving Wanless to Frontier Division.

Honeymoon cruise ends with rough Atlantic voyage to New York

The narrator recalls a nine day Atlantic crossing from Casablanca to New York aboard a Mediterranean cruise. A violent Bermuda Triangle storm wrecked parts of the ship while passengers clung to cabins and lifebelts. After arrival in New York the voyage continued to Winnipeg via Toronto and Windsor, totaling 11 637 miles.
