The Kelsey Trail Named In Northern Manitoba
The Tri Festival Association chose The Kelsey Trail as the No. 10 Highway name after a Swan River The Pas and Flin Flon contest won by Mrs. P. W. McPherson of Flin Flon. The trail honors Henry Kelsey linked to Hayes River in 1690 and the Prairies. Flin Flon hosts Trout Festival starting June 28. The Pas hosts Trappers Festival and Swan River holds Northwest Roundup. The Pas Herald reports local budget notes and water system plans.
