Two Years in Jail for Drugging in Winnipeg
In Winnipeg on April 4, Robert Metcalfe a bartender at the Northern hotel was sentenced to two years in the penitentiary for drugging John Kuzek so that John Sendlak a porter could rob him. Sendlak received one year in jail. Samuel McCreary a drug clerk at Limo Drug Company 803 Main Street was convicted of illegally selling Metcalfe drugs and remanded for sentence pending character report.
