Maureen Fjermestad is named Club Champion of The Pas Figure Skating Club for the 1971 72 season. She won the title over about 80 local skaters in club competitions held March 25 and 26. Family Lose Home In Fire At Pas Reserve
On Monday March 27 a fire of undetermined origin gutted the Leonard Mickey Constant family residence at the Pas Reserve. Fire crews faced non functioning hydrants, shuttling water from Railway and First to the scene. Eight children aged six to eighteen were displaced and new quarters were found for them by the Pas Indian Band the following day.
