Tax-paying time Is now over, and there has been about $11,000 paid, iato the city Treasury, which is fifty per cent, more than was ever paid in one year before. All of Dayton’s bonds and interest that are due have been paid, and there is a surplus of several thousand dollars in the hanks to the credit of the city.General Kieber is putting up, for the Bonte Rope-walk Company, one of the largest buildings that has ever been built in our city. He is building it under the personal supervision, of |tr« Wll iam Flasson. who is one of the partners of the Bonte itope-walk Company. The building when finished will be four stories high, and 40 feot wide by 200 feet long, and will give employment to over one hundred workmen.
