Jackson ed the* M. K. church, Mr. John Knight to Miss Margaret L. Roberts, both of Canyem City. Miss Margaret is a beautiful and accomplished young lady of e*x-cedlent qualities anel is loved by all who know her, was horn anel raised in Misseuiri, but has re* siele'd in this port inn of Texas feu-over two years. She* is a sister te» Mr. S. F. Roberts, a leading merchant ed this place. Mr. John Knight was born and raised in Husk county, Texas, and e ame from that county to this place where lie has engaged in the general blacksmith and weiod-working business, besides having investee I quite extensively in land and town property. The editor of the Echo has been personally acepiainted with Knight for quite a number of years and knows him to he a splendid young gentleman of tine* busi-iie*ss qualifications, strictly sober and moral habits.
