Westoverman charged for domesticincidentBy Liza Matia Staff Writer Charges of aggravated assault were dropped for a Westover man yesterday at centralized court. Kenneth Brink, 52, waived charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment.According to the criminal complaint, police responded to a domestic disturbance at Westover Road residence on Sept. 1. The victim reported that Brink had been drinking and threw a beer can at her and then spit in her face. She said he picked up a Mossberg 835 12-gauge shotgun, stuck the barrel into her neck, and threatened to “blow her head off.”Police later recovered the weapon in the bedroom. Brink is free on unsecured bail.Two brothers accused of corrupting minors and indecently assaulting three girls had their day in court yesterday. Kenneth Reams of Clearfield and Christopher Reams of Houtzdale both face charges of corruption of minors, indecent assault, and furnishing alcohol to minors. Kenneth Reams waived his right to a preliminary hearing while Christopher Reams had his hearing continued for two weeks.According to the affidavit ofErobable cause, the Reams rothers met three girls inHoutzdale. Christopher Reams offered to take the girls “mud-ding” in his brother’s truck. Kenneth Reams drove to a wooded area behind Caprio’s Beverages and offered the girls beer on the way.
