The John D. Johnson funeral was held in the Heather Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 4:30 and was conducted under the auspices of the Lordsburg Knights of Pyth ians, of which the deceased was an honored member The funeral ser mon Was one of the most comfort ing that could be imagined and was preached by Knight Rev Bryan Hall. The casket was buried in beautiful flowers, large wreaths and set pieces, the Knights of Pythian emblem being formed with appropriately colored flowers. The music was furnished by Mrs. Thel ma Ross, Mrs. Helen Robertson and W.C. Mearns, with R. T. Bonar at the plane Pall bearers were all brother Knights, John Cavin, Claude Pul ler, R. I. Jarvis, Earl T. Brown, Frank Stengle and Neil Burke The burial with the beautiful K P. ceremony was at Mountain View cemetery Brother Knights and close friends came to pay their last tribute of love and esteem to the departed from Deming, Douglas, Silver City, Fl Paso and Clifton. The deceased leaves to mourn his untimely pass ing his aged mother, Demetrious Johnson and a brother, Mikolaos Johnson, and his cousin, John Xamalatos, of Los Angeles and J. A. Johnson and J. A. Johnson, Jr
