RECEPTION FOR JIM KENTA reception in honor of Jim Kent, Republican candidate for State Representative from District 66 of Southwest Texas, was held in Robert lee, Thursday, Sept. 12, at 4:30 p.m. in the conference room in the courthouse.Miss Betty Clawson of Robert Lee and Mrs. Ernest Clendennen of Silver were hostesses for the event, which gave Kent an op* portunity to meet citizens of Coke County and discuss with them the problems and concerns of their area. Kent said he folt all citizens should have a voice in their government and is, therefore, talking with as many as possible throughout the 13 county district, the largest in Texas.
