Darrel Ketetsen, and Dr. H, H. Kalas.September 19 is the first home game of the Westmar Eagles during the 1959 season: They will host the Peru State Teachers College of Peru, Nebraska. John Vollmar. chairman of the Westmar Advisor Board, will be master of ceremonies of the half-time dedication ceremonies. Invitations are being extended to -Mr. E. D. Archambault, superintendent of Le Mars public schools: Father J. P. A Ivey, superintendent of Geh-len; and Dr. A. V. Howland, vice-president of Westmar.' to share in the service. The bands from the two high schools are also being invited. Special guests will include the coaches and foojball teams of the local, high schools.The completion of this new athletic center is the realization of several years of cooperative planning on the part of the entire Le Mars community. While the stadium and field are a part of the Westmar campus, because of the participation and support of the Le Mars citizens in this project, agreements have been made for the use of the field by the Le Mars Central and Gehlen High Schools. It is reported that each of the teams will retain their former facilities for practice in order to maintain the attractiveness of the new facilities throughout the years.*
