_ Milton Hines, Olton, will speak in “Geology, Mineralogy and the Recovery of Gold” at a meeting of the Lubbock Gem and Mineral Society Tuesday at 7:20 p.m. in the Precinct 1 Club house, 5012 W. 50th St. A door prize will be given and refreshments served. Visitors ‘are welcomed, according to Bula Beard, publicity chairman of the group, and members are urged to pick up copies of the Texas Federation Directory at the ses sion. Plans for the lapidary exhibit at the Panhandle-South Plains Fair in late September were made recently In a joint meeting of represenatives from the Ter ry County Rock Rustlers, Brown field, Hi-Plains Rock Club, the Levelland Gem and Mineral So ciety and the Lubbock group.
