America not alone, bul all through Europe In a tour of the continent a couple of years ago Miss Gilson appeared with great success in the following European cities:—Hamburg, for two months, Cologne, one month; Leipsig two months; Dresdenone mouth; Prague, one month; Geneva, one month; she was a tremendous success in Great Britain and appeared at the Crystal Palace, London, Tivoli, Oxford and Royal Helbron, London. In Paris she performed at the Folies Bergere.All through the German Europe Miss Gilson sang her songs in the German language and so won the hearts of those lovers ot music that she was spoken of by them as the American Gelstinger, a compliment of which Miss Gilson Is very proud. She then returned to her native land (America) and late last season joined hands with [. K. Emmet, known throughout the country for his impersonation of the ever popular scries of plays entitled MFriti.M Their success was instantaneous and this happy combination of mirth and music bids fair to become one of the jtrongest aggregations in the country. Surrounded by a company ot incomparable players Miss Gilson and I K Emmet will appear here in a careful revival of the famous comedydrama Fritz in s Mad House” with Mr. Emmet in his character of Fritz” and Miss Gilson an Collie Parker. Both Miss Gilson and Mr. Emmet will be heard in songs and specialties assisted by their excellent com pany.
