r Aged Citizen DeadWillis L. Brower, aged 78 years, died Friday morning at bis home on High street.Deceased was born in Randolph county and migrated to High Point nearly half a century ago, and after, staying awhile left, returning 25 years ago to make this his permanent home. For a number of years he conducted the Brower house where now stands the magnificent postofflce building. One son Edward Brower, merchant, survives. Mr. Brower served the “Last Cause” and gave meritorious service. He was a highly respected citizens anda Christian gentleman.The funeral obsequies were conducted from the residence Saturday afternoon by Rev. A. G. Dixon of the M. P. church of which deceased was a consistent member and the interment was made in tue local cemetery alongside of his wife who preceded him to the grave about 14 months.
