\ C. L. 8. C.\sThe first real meeting of the Circle took place at Prof. White’s rooms on last Wednesday evening. A fine programme was executed; one of the most interesting essays being that of Hiss Ada Freeman, upon “Sparta and Athens.*1 The circle meets at Dr. Lemmon’s next Wednesday evening. There will be an excellent programme, one of the things of interest being the “Experimental Chemistry,11 which will be thoroughly illustrated by experiments. All persons interested are invited to attend, whether members or not The Circle has 80. members. ***
