groom's mother wore brown with brown accessories. Both had cor sages of gardenias The bride graduated from Bruns wick High School Class of “4 and has been improved by Western Electric of Baltimore for the past two years. The groom was educated in the schools of Tennessee and entered the Ammy Cadet Camps of Vander bilt University. He became an Army Aly Corps instructor atn which capacity he was discharged. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride, and the three-tier welding cake was cut by the bride and groom. Those attending the reception besides the parents of the bride and groom were William Darrah, brother of the groom; John Rick ard, brother of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. John R. Williams and son, Robert; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Cage, Dr. George Thomas Strother, Miss Ruth Lee Howie, Donald Carr, Miss Jean Whipp, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Whipp, and Miss Dorothy Haller. After a brief honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Darrah will make their home in Nashville, Tenn, where the Capitol Airlines, Wagner——Bowers Mrs. Catherine J. Bowers, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Dono van, Brunswick, and Kenneth A. Wagner, son of Mrs. Anna R. Wax ner, Palmerton, Pa., were married Sept. 29 at two o'clock in Bethany Lutheran church, Brunswick, Rev. Ralph H. Miller performed the single ring ceremony. Mrs. Fran cis Miller, organist of the church, played the wedding music. The bride had her sister, Miss Norma Donovan, Washington, for her maid of honor, and Misa Phyl lis Person, of Palmerton, Pa., for her bridesmaid. Russell GC, Cun ningham, Palmerton, Pa. was the ret mei. The bride was attired in a brown suit with accessories to match, and wore a corsage of white rosebueds. Her attendants wore pray suits with black accessories and corsages of red rosebuds. The bride is a graduate of Bruns Wick High School. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Palmerton High School and is employed in the Flo talion Laboratory, Research Divis ion, of the New Jersey Zing Com pany. A reception was held at the bride's home following the cere mony.
