Frightens People In Sea side Town. SAW A SEA-SERPENT SEVENTY FEET LONG, Several Witnesses Testify to Appear ance of the Monster Off Mas sachusetts Coast, Nantasket, Mass.—Henry Edwin Hatch, an unassuming fisherman of Gun * Rock, who bears an unquestioned rep utation for integrity, says he is ready to make adavit before any justice of the peace that while in a boat with his wife about one mile off Simons Farm beach on the morning of Monday, July 10, he saw a sea monster about 70 feet long, with about 40 black humps or curves about the size of a man's body along its back, and a head, which it oc casionally raised above the surface of the water, as large as a nail keg.
