GOODLAND MUSEUM ISGAINING FAME OVERTHIS COUNTRYMr. Dwight Babcock, the “Daddy” of the Goodland Museum, was in Remington again, Tuesday, in the interest of his enterprise. The Museum has grown by leaps} and bounds the last year and his new building is no longer adequate to hold his treasures. He is contemplating the build-of additional room or rooms to take care of the rapid increase and allow for display of the relics.Jus now he is searching for someold pewter plates or other utensils«made of pewter. He also wants arrow heads, stone axes, or any other articles of historic nature from Jas* per county. He states that the Museum is not for Goodland or Newton county alone, but he ,is building it for the whole state, and the northwest corner in particular.The affair is quite well advertised already, and the Indianapolis Star gave him a three column write udartf“lteslgits, otf^Wednesday, ^xSnthis week.One day last week he had a caller from Chicago, who was soon to start for the Orient. He came down on purpose to view the relics, and was amazed at the multitude of them and pricelessness of sdme of them. He has promised to send some things from China.
