COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS.Alma, Mich., Nov. 18, 1913.Regular meeting of the Common Council of tin* city of \1raa in Council rooms on the above date.The Council was called to order by the Mayor. Hon. J M. MontigclPresent: Aldermen Pcery, Willard, Caple, Cook and Kehn.There being a quorum present the Council was declared to be in session.The journal of the preceding session was read and approved.On motion of Alderman Cook, supported by Alderman Pcery, that the live year guarantee paving bond of I.ee Howland as principal and the Caplc, Cook and Kehn.The following is the cost of the l.cc Howland paving:Wright avenue..............$2,046.26Extra over hill of dirt.. ... 50.65Michigan avenue .....3,407.40Extra over hill of dirt ......03.25E. Superior street......... 2-.362.41Less 24 days' engin-$7,929.97United States Fidelity and Guaranty i o. as sureties he approved.Which vote was as follows:Yeas—Aldermen Pecry. Willard,C aplc. Cook and Kehn.On motion of Alderman Cook, sup- \ ported by Alderman Pcery, that the indemnity bond in the sum of 2,000 of Lee Howland as principal and the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co a* sureties be approved. Which vote was as follows:Yeas—Aldermen Pecrv, Willard,ccr’s services.......$100.00Less 7 Vi% returnedfor 45 days......... 582.75- 742.75$7,187.22. 1\ mount paid on estimates Nos 1. 2. 3................ 5,008.05 t$2,179.17 On motion of Hderman Pcery, supported by Alderman Cook, that Lee t Howland be allowed $2,179.17 on the paving contract.Which vote was as follows:Vests—Aldermen Pcery, Willard, y Caplc, Cook and Kehn. ?
