d Grand Opening of the Stage Stop restaurant at Scotsdale Road and Indian School Road is slated for tonight, with big, public festivities including square dancing, special enterainment from California, prizes ,and street dancing, it is an nounced by the management. The half-million dollar restaurant, and drive-in, orginally opened as Bimbo's last December, and closed for many intervening months, is being re-opened by the Albert Sheetz chain of restaurants of Cali fornia. The Scottsdale branch, of ficially now named as the Stage Stop,is their first Arizona unit. Entertainment planned for to night (Friday) includes Judy Marsh, star of Disneyland’s Golden Horseshoe, in a special Scottsdale role of “Blue Fdot Sue”, and West Coast Emcee Johnny Dugan. Local Valley’ talent will include the Schrouder Play Boys Westen Band, with. Johnny Melton as Em cee,,and .Square. Dancing by local dancers under the direction of Gar land Greene, well-known national Square Dance Fiddler. _The evening's entertainment will be from 8 to 1 p.m., it is announced, and prizes will be awarded, with out obligation to all who deposit newspaper coupons, at 11 p.m. The new management will cater especially to the family trade. Unique and different costumes are featured _by_ the waitresses in_ the restaurant, and drive-in car, hops, and the supervisorial personnel.
