T. \V. Fitts, ex-mayor of Sharps-burg, V. C., shot and killed Hlaine 1 Farmer, his brother-in-law, who was ' a policeman in Sharpsburg, last Thursday night. Vising a shotgun, \ Fitts fired two shots into Farmer’s , body. He died before reaching a j Rocky Mount hospital. The two men had been engaged in a political ar- | gument when the shooting occurred. Fitts gave himself up to the sheriff ' of Nash county at Nashville. \
