Said to Have Been Discovered In Cambeit Township—lived ina Hollow Tree.A telephone message received by j the man in the woods is to blame. The Reporter from Kipton this morn- , Some think lie is an insane man. whoing, conveyed the information that on Sunday some boys who were nutting saw what is supposed to be a wild man in the woods near Oamden lake, 'They discovered a big hollow tree in the woods filled with leaves and with branches of the trees placed around as if to hide the opening.J They supposed that some tramp had ! sought shelter there for the night,Ibnt while they were looking at it, they heard the cracking of brush and I looking through the trees Baw a man making towards them.The boys were badly frightened and ran away. One of them, however, more courageous than the rest, hid behind a tree a little ways off and watched the man oome up and crawl into the hollow tree, arranging the leaves and bushes so that he was hid from view. The boys say that the man was tall and apparent ly powerful It built and had long hair whioh hung in a tangled mass about his shoulders.The story haB created considerable excitement and it is possible that an expedition will be planned and an attempt made to capture the man. | Of late, farmers in the vicinity of Oamden lake have been missing numerous chickens and other good things to eat and now they thinkhas escaped from an asylum, bat others are of the opinion tliat it simply is a hobo who has gone into winter quarters. .
