President I E. A. Shepperd of the Winters Chamber of Commerce yes terday appointed a committee com posed to Bert E. Low, H. O. Jones and Mayor A. F. Roberts to confer with the officials of the Abilene Southern railroad relative to chang ing the present schedule of the motor car. The mail service being given by the road since it cut the motor car service to one trip per day is very unsatisfactory and this committee will immediately take the matter up with the road in an ef fort to change the present schedule in order to secure better mail ser vice.
