Declared Big Sums in Dividends, The Wythe Lead and Zinc Mine Company held the annual meeting of its stockholders at Austinville on Monday last and a very fall representation of the stock was present. The report of the manager, Captain John C. Raper, showed the mines and business to be in a more prosperous condition than they have ever been and the earnings of the com pany meet satisfactory to the owners of the stock. The probabilities are that the com pany will have distributed in dividends, for the year ending July next, at least a hundred thousand dollars, as it has already since last July, paid to its shareholders sev enty- six thousand dollars on dividends account.
