The Brides of MayTHREE WEDDINGS WERE CELEBRATED IN THE GALENA CHURCHES WED NESDAY MORNING.ALL ARE RESIDENTS OF GALENAKELLY—CALLAHAN, ONEILL-.-REILLY NUPTIALS SOLEMNIZED AT ST.Michael’s, huber-glea-SON WEDDING AT ST. • MARY’S CHURCH.K ELLY—CALLAHAN.This morning St. Michael’s Catholic Church was the scene of an impressive wedding ceremony, the principals to the happy eveut being Miss Agnes Kelly and Donald A. Callahan. Promptly at 8 o’clock as the sweet strains of Mendelsohn’s Wedding March were played on the organ by Miss Fannie McHugh, the bridal party entered the church and took their places at the chancel rail, the groom and bridesmaid entering first, followed by the charming bride and best man.The bride was attended by her friend Miss Julia Ward while Charles P. Carroll of Chicago performed ajsirailar functionjfor the groom.The bride was attired in a dainty creation of white persian lawn with lace trimmings and carried a shower bouquet of Lillies of the Valley. Her toilette was completed by a long tulle veil and wreath of Lillies of the Valley.Her maid was prettily gowned in white swiss and carried a huge bouquet of pink carnations.After the ceremony a nuptial high mass was j.solemized by Rev. J.E. Shannahan, assisted by Rev. D.E. McGrath and the full choir. At the conclusion of the ceremonies at the church the choir rendered ‘ Sweet Savoior Bless Us Ere We Go.” which was a favorite hymn of the bride’s.Awaiting the bridal party 011 their return from the church was a sumptious wedding breakfast, which was partaken of by the immediate relatives and most intimate friends of the bridal couple. The dining room decorations were green and white.This popular young couple are well and favorably known in Galena, Miss Kelly is the youngest daughtey of Lockmaster and Airs. Patrick Kelly 011 Lower Main St, and has since her graduation from school been employed as a clerk in Barry’s Dry Goods Store.The groom is the son of Mrs. Mary Callahan, and is at present Deputy Clerk of the U. S. District Court with headquarters at Freeport, where he and his bride will make their future home.Mr. and Airs. Callahan left on the 1:15 Central for Chicago and other Eastern points and after a brief honeymoon will be at home to their many friends at 180 Exchange Street, Freeport, 111.The Tribune heartily congratulates its former Associate Editor and his bride, and its well wishes go with them to their new home.
