Griggs, now living at Clemons. He is a graduate of the Marshalltown high school, later taking two years of work at Central Iowa Business college. He was employed for a year with the Forrest Reed Insurance Agency and then by the Witwer Grocer Company - before entering the treasurer's office in June, 1935. As second deputy he has handled all re-accounting and the main books of the office, distribution of tax money among the various funds being a part of his work. He is a member of the Friends church. He is married and has two sons.
