The case of L. E. Davis vs. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. W. Thomas was tried this week before Judge W. II. Jackson. The suit was for $140 wages alleged to have been due for work performed for defendants on their ranch on Mill creek. Defendants claimed that they had performed washing and mending for Davis during the summer of 1915 and that he had caused the loss of two or more of their colts from overwork. Plaintiff was given judgment for $32.05 and costs assessed at $37.60. Davis was represented by Atty. L. 15. Donley, and defendants by Attys. Stull, Wentz Bailey.
