Mrs. John Scliunder, a pioneer, died Friday. Funeral Tomorrow.Into the sleep that knows no awakening peacefully passed the spirit of Mrs. Sehunder, relict of tin* late John Shunder, at her home in Scho°l Section early Friday morning.Dissolution came after a well spent life of 78 years duration. Death resulted from dropsy and a combination of ills incident to advanced age. Mrs. Sehunder was a native of Germany but for the past fifty years has been a resident of this city where she bore the respect and good will of all with whom she came in contact.Mrs. Sehunder’s husband died a year ago and from the time of his demise the life partner, the deceas ed, lias failed rapidly and now joins in death the companion of fifty four years of muried life.Four years ago Mr. and Mrs. Schunder/cfcLijb rated their golden wedding and Jheir acme of happiness wa$'feben reached. Surviving Mrs. Sehunder are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Edward Paar, Mrs. Chris Bauer, of Galena, Joseph Sehunder, of Hartsville, Mass., John Sehunder, of Savanna, Mrs. Joseph Dusheek and Mrs. Fred Steirman, of Dubuque. The funeral will he held from St. Mary’s Catholic church Saturday morning at nine o’clock, where i high mass of requiem will be celebrated. The remains will be laic to rest in St. Mary’s German Catholic cemetery.
