Regular Fishing Season |Local.Woman's Father In To Open June 15th Law Dies At Cedar CityIsaac A. Nelson, 73, life-long res-, ident of Cedar City and father-in-law of Oleta B. Nelson of this city, died on Wednesday morning of last week at his home there after an illness of only a few hours. A sufferer from diabetes for many years,Mr. Nelson hadn’t been feeling wellfor the past month, but had beenabout his usual tasks up to Tuesday evening. After spending the evening as usual he became suddenly ill at about 11 p. m. and became rapidly worse until death came at 6Wednesday morning.He was born in Cedar City May 8, 1871, a son of Bengt and Ellen Johnson Nelson, early Cedar Citypioneers, and spent his life engaged ^..farming at which he .was verysuccessful. On January 9» 1899 hemarried Sarah Arthur in the St,George temple.He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Westover of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth Anderson of Salt Lake City and one son, F 3/c Isaac A. Nelson, serving in Pacific waters. He is also surveyed by a brother, Charles A. Nelson,Redwood, California,Funeral services were held for himon Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.Mr. and Mrs. Webster Bettridge ofthis city went over to Cedar to at-ted the services.
